Private debt investment in Livitron

Published September, 2026

Armada Fund VI Ky has closed its ninth platform investment and provided financing to Livitron, a portfolio company of Alder. The financing is used for the acquisition of the Ignition business of Tesi Group (Tesi Ignition), with additional financing committed for further M&A.

Livitron, based in Germany, is a buy-and-build platform for industrial monitoring and measurement, focused on combustion-related processes. Livitron’s products and systems are used to monitor and optimise energy production and industrial processes, enabling continuous emission monitoring. Livitron is active in the energy, process industries, chemicals, gas turbines, hydrogen, waste-to-energy and environmental compliance markets.

Tesi Ignition, based near Milan, designs and manufactures high-energy ignition systems that ensure safe and stable combustion across power generation, chemical, and waste applications and help customers comply with strict safety standards. The acquisition rationale is based on the fit into Livitron’s Combustion Safety & Control vertical, extending the product portfolio into ignition while facilitating cross-selling from a shared end-user base.

Key market growth drivers include tightening emission regulations, the energy transition (flexible gas turbines, hydrogen readiness, bioenergy and emission retrofits of legacy assets), as well as increasing demand for technical process monitoring and cost optimisation.
