Private debt investment in the refinancing of the biotechnology company Bioteria and acquisition of Rensa

Armada Fund V has closed its fourteenth investment and provided financing in support of the refinancing of Bioteria Technologies AB (“Bioteria”) and acquisition of Rensa Avskiljarteknik AB (“Rensa”).

Bioteria is a biotechnology company developing innovative products and services within wastewater treatment, waste management, and commercial kitchen ventilation. The add-on acquisition, Rensa, is today a developer and manufacturer of waste disposers and wastewater purification technology and will broaden the service offering of the combined group. Bioteria is the first impact investment of Armada Fund V as its solutions contribute to the green transition by reducing CO2 emissions of up to 90% compared to traditional solutions while also contributing to cleaner water and waste management, supporting several factors in the environment such as biodiversity.
